God Bless the manga artist Adachi, who has such a cute artstyle, and his absolute love for sports, especially baseball. Because he has had multiple of his mangas made into animes, you can actually see how, with the same base character designs, anime changed over the years.
Same thing being animated, different techniques… this is as controlled an experiment as you can get.
I personally think H2, the earlier series, looks better animated, however both aren’t BAD by any means.
I will give you the idea that the animation quality of the opening of H2 was better than Cross Game but they are indeed both good.
I think part of it is the way it was put together that kind of grated against Cross Game when compared to the rather fluid nature of H2. Though I do have say that after rewatching a good amount of the more classic anime that I loved in my youth, I am also enjoying the sharper lines and colors that the more current generations of shows.
Also… what is your opinion on the reworked Space Battleship Yamato 2199 that seems to be a direct redo of the original series in regards to changes in anime over the years? Especially since it seems they captured as many of the details of the original ships and fighters for the redo.
My brother recommended I may like this website. He was entirely right.
This submit actually made my day. You can not believe just how a lot time I had spent for this information! Thank you!
