  1. I have all four seasons of Samurai Jack on DVD, and it’s fantastic and Genndy Tartakovsky is a god.

You mentioned my favorite episode, where Jack kills the intelligent android. They did a similar episode where a group of bounty hunters were working on the perfect plan to get him and he only shows up at the end. (I also loved the episode where Aku tricks him, it’s the one with that lady with the big black sword in it. Oh, and the Western Themed episode with the two bounty hunters.)

  2. There was also Dexter Lab: Ego Trip, a direct to video movie which I think marks the end of the old production of the show. I remember having it on VHS, but not having a player handy to watch 🙁

    • I’ve only seen that one time, and I had kind of mixed feelings about it. To me, Dexter works much better as a short subject, so any time they tried to do anything epic with it, it felt weird. Kind of like whenever Nick did all those Fairly Odd-Parents and Jimmy Neutron made-for-TV movies. Man, those got ridiculous.

Ego Trip isn’t a bad movie, by any means. Just weird for me.

  3. I especially love the man’s work. Samurai Jack was awesome and I really want more shows like Symbiotic Titan. Hell, I want a DVD release for Titan if they aren’t going to make more of it.

I’m really hoping Disney “declassifies” Genndy’s Clone Wars stuff and reissues the DVDs. The new CG show shed a lot of its earlier BS and got pretty intriguing, but it doesn’t have the same extra good flavor of Genndy’s shorts. I kinda wonder what the show would be like if they put him on it.
