  1. So, I was just drifting around youtube land and came upon these interesting japanese intros to X-men that I had to laugh and applaud at.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWTad94mre8&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8HkDMht3d4&feature=related This just proves japan can really grab a persons attention even if it’s that stereo typical anime intro we all know and love haha. If I saw these intros on that 90s show I would probably be even more depressed at the quality degradation from Akom, but at least the intro was more jaw dropping then the original.

    • Those intros just make the show even more awful by contrast, Ronnie. They just make me more angry at how that show was produced. I don’t think using TMS and Toei was really an option for them anymore, but they kept trying to do that style of animation via AKOM, with horrible results.

I really miss the 80s Japanese style of animation. Nobody does that anymore. Not even Japan.

      • Heheh, wow I agree, I miss that 80s tv show too, “No one can defeat the Blob!” Ahh, cheesy but good. Believe it or not there are actually more of these kinds of american to japanese adaptions, one of which recently has wolverine turned into a very thin dracula figure with long flowing hair fighting japanese demons, oh the humanity. I was actually cringing at the TMNT one, holy smokes its’ bad…real bad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGMfb60lc14 and misery loves company, so I must share this. I actually remember the toys for some of these, but I never saw the super mutants in my life, I would think for good reason too.
